Another Finnism.

Finn, chanting "jack be nimble" last night:

Finn: "Jack puh nipple, Jack be quick, etc."

Me:  "Jack puh nipple?"

Finn:  "Yes, that's his NAME!  Like mine is Finn Hayman Limber!"

It might be spring...

Funny how I'm hesitant to assume it ever will be spring!

A couple of pics of the chilluns.  Finn is really into playing card games these days.  We'd just worked out the basics of crazy eights.  Note his mexican hot chocolate moustache (how can anyone spell that 'mustache'  It doesn't have nearly the same panache!). 

Now, Poppy's turn in her favourite outfit.  She still loves footwear.  And who can blame her?  Which reminds me!  Camper now has kids shoes!!!  (hold me back) The shoes like yours, Banana, come in ORANGE!!!  Finn would never wear them, I'm fairly certain.  But Poppy will wear anything, if it's a shoe!  heeheehee!

moooooore Finnart

If I could take a decent picture, I could have given you Poppy in her many moods yesterday.  The following are outfits that she appeared in, quietly and solemnly by my side.  She truly is a tiny Elton John.

#1.  rubber frog boots on the wrong feet, diaper, pink fairy wings on her back and her fairy tutu in hand

#2.  large thread spool necklace, green metallic heart shaped sunglasses minus the shades

#3.  Baby bonnet backward on her head, ties hanging down each side of her face like sideburns

And here is a note that Finn wrote to Grandma.  Incase you can't decipher it, it says "love you, from Finn"  Of course, it's an alligator.

And here is the note he wrote to me:  "Mom, wish you were here"  (huh?  Where'd I go?)

Finn is a most prolific artist these days. 

I love this drawing.  It's of a spaceship with it's crew.  Finn is the captain (of course) and Dave is one of his crew members. 

Yes, that would be Dave, complete with stubble.

And now, here's the real deal with his new haircut, fresh from Mr. Tomaso (who tuned Dave's requests out and kept insisting, in his charming italian accent, "You like a naaaaice short haircut!  All the guys like this!"

Truly, food of the gods.  Fox sounds a bit hairy though.
